If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I love tease, denial and chastity. If you want to know more about chastity belts, or come up with some ideas to lock up your submissive, this is the post for you. This will be written from my perspective, but chastity belts are for everyone, no worries. 😉
Male chastity cages are available in loads of different sizes, colours (PINK!) and materials. They’re quite common – I’ve had lovely chats on cam with people that had their dicks in a cage. I don’t have a lot of real life experience with playing with caged dicks, though it seems like fun. I’m not a very Domly type, though, so it’d be probably a lot of bratty giggles while poking the cage and hiding the keys. Close enough, right? For more information about playing with chastity cages, you probably need to search elsewhere, though. Good thing I have some friends that are professional Dominatrixes – I’m sure they’d love to help you.
You don’t see female chastity belts as often. The reason for this is not that girls don’t want to be locked up – on the contrary! There are a couple of options if you want to play with chastity, even if you don’t have a dick. I’ll go over them below!
Steel chastity belts
A “real” female chastity belt is often a big, steel contraption that reminds me of a corset. A steel chastity belt looks and feels intense. They are very tight and it’s impossible to slip a finger between the metal, which is awesome. Wearing them turns me on, because I just cannot touch myself if I wanted to. You’re constantly reminded of the fact that you can’t, which is hot. The front shield sometimes has the option to hold a vaginal plug, a butt plug or both, depending on the kind of shield. This can make chastity even more exciting or terrible, depending on who you ask. Steel chastity devices are really easy to clean, too. Watch my clips to get a beter impression of what it’s like to wear them.
You can wear them for quite a while, though I personally prefer to wear them for no longer than 12 hours. Because the contraption is made out of steel and has little holes in the front shield and an opening plate on the rear, you should be able to go to the bathroom, if that’s something you want to do. Personally, I take the belt off for bathroom breaks, but to each their own. 😉
A downside of these steel chastity belts is that it’s hard to move around with. Because of the high waist band, you’re unable to bend over properly. This doesn’t seem like much of a problem, but if you’ve worn corsets in the past, you’ll know how annoying this is. It also can hurt quite a bit if you bump into things, or sit down the wrong way. I’ve also noticed that if you wear it for longer amounts of time, the belt can irritate your skin, as the heat, sweat and oils from your body can’t go anywhere. Listen to your body when something feels uncomfortable, and make sure you always have a spare key with you.
It’s not subtle, either. Going to the gym, swimming or just not wearing a lot of clothes is out of the question, unless the people you’re with have consented to you showing off your steel. Call me a party pooper, but I don’t think it’s cool to wave your kinks around in someone elses face. Even if it’s ‘just’ a chastity belt – it’s still creepy and weird. That thing looks like a medieval torture device, for gods sake.
Leather chastity belts
A much cheaper and comfortable option are leather chastity belts. Leather is a lot more forgiving to move around with, too. The size of the belt is easy to adjust, so unlike steel chastity belts, you don’t have to unscrew the whole thing. However, you can’t wear it that long – you’ll have to take it off if you need to go to the bathroom or take a shower. Nonetheless, this is definitely a great option to start playing with chastity. While most leather chastity belts don’t have insertables like their steel alternatives, you can still combine it with your favourite dildo or butt plug. Imagine what’ll happen when you wear a remote controlled vibrator!
You can buy leather chastity belts in most sex shops, though I’d recommend finding a leathercrafter in your BDSM community. This way you can get your hands on some quality craftmanship, support your local kink scene and make sure that the belt fits properly. Its a win-win!
If you’re really serious…
There’s another option, besides steel or leather belts: chastity piercings. Some information about chastity piercings can be found here. Even though I love piercings, I don’t think I’ll ever go down that road. It’s too scary and I am way too clumsy – what if they get stuck the moment I take off my panties?! That’d hurt, and not in a good way. But if you already have piercings in your labia, or are just way more of a badass than I am, go for it!
I hope you liked reading my experience and thoughts about chastity! I will definitely be writing more, but this post is getting long enough as it is. 😉 There’s so much more to talk about when it comes to denial and being locked up. Have fun and don’t lose your keys!
